These instructions are from a customer who decided to make these work on a 2009 and newer
touring model, this modification is solely his idea and works great so I wanted to share with all those
out there looking to get more leg room on their bagger. Its easy to do, and really doesnt take any

| Here is my installation of your forward floorboard kit on my 2010 Roadglide. With a few minor modifications the kit will work, however, the owner must be willing to drill 3 of the original holes from 3/8” up to 1/2“ in order for the kit to fit properly. Let me put out this disclaimer in case you decide to put this on your website. MOUNTING THIS KIT ON A 2009 and newer HARLEY DAVIDSON ® MOTORCYCLE REQUIRES DRILLING OF THE FLOORBOARD MOUNTING HOLES; WHILE THIS PROCESS CAN BE REVERSED I WILL NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY OF YOU MODIFYING YOUR MOTORCYCLE! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. |
| You will need 3/8" and 1/2" drill bits, one 1/2"x1/2" spacer, 1- 1/2"x1-1/2"bolt grade 8, 1- 1/2"x1" bolt grade 8, 1- 1/2"x1-1/4" bolt grade 8, 3 - 1/2" lockwashers, locktite, misc. tools. |
To return your bike to stock at a later date you can simply purchase a new set of these frame plates.
the left side is HD part #50096-09 and the right side is HD part #47460-09BHP.... If you are
uncomfortable doing this modification yourself, we can supply you with the drilled/ modified parts and
all required hardware for a price of $217.50 plus shipping..Or you could send us your frame plates
and we will modify them for you and send the necessary hardware for $65 plus shipping. This does
not include the forward footboard bracket set. If you are going to do the mods yourself go ahead and
