Chris and his design
in real life.....
Chris' original
sketch that won the
contest!
GREAT JOB!!!
!
HERE IT IS IN VIVID
COLORS!!!
Here's the scoop!!

We decided  with permission from the school and
especially Mrs. Felix the 8th grade art teacher, that it
would be fun to inspire the 8th graders with an art
class for a day on "Art using automotive paints".
Especially in motorcycle paint design. I got to teach the
class for a day on how to design a sketch, and how to
lay out graphical patterns. And what colors are
available in auto paints today. We even brought a
motorcycle to the school and put it right in the art
class the night prior to the classes, what a treat to see
the excitement on these kids faces as they came to
class to see it sitting there. When it was all over the
kids were to design a paint job and the 7th graders
would pick the winner. As a grand prize we would paint
a lamp for the winner to keep, using his/her design.
Some really cool ideas came out of these 8th graders
and as you can see, one in particular.
Congratulations Chris Case on winning with your
awesome design.
And a special thanks to Mrs. Felix and the entire staff
at Cascade junior high school for allowing us this
wonderful opportunity.
