The Bike you see on the background of the home page is a 2001 flhr and it sports
among other things a custom modified frame. This particular bike has a 3 inch stretch in
the backbone and a 34 degree neck rake, do not confuse this with the overall rake as
the stock triple trees have a built in rake all on their own. In order for this mod to be
made the bike was stripped completely down to the frame, we made a custom jig just
for this one off design, we cut the frame at the front of the seat and halfway up the
legs. From there forward everything is hand formed and welded better and stronger
than stock. Our welder Wayne Harmless owner of spectra-weld has decades of welding
experience from welding aircraft for the air force. The original serial number was
re-grafted on to the neck of the frame so the original title would match... THIS FRAME
IS NOT BUILT FROM SCRATCH BUT WITH A DONOR TO START! No More assembled
vehicle titles!!!
The 7 gallon tank, one off dash and boat tail rear fender are more of Wayne's fancy
workmanship!
